Vans has resurrected its classic Acer NI, a sleek low-top silhouette originally debuted in the mid-90s. This release follows Taka Hayashi and Vans Vaults collaborative Snake Trail LX seen just last week. Coming in both black and white colorways, the silhouette is enlivened by a clean monochromatic design that is accentuated by contrasting textures. Smooth full-grain leather appears along the tongue and heel counter, offsetting the delicate suede uppers that dominate most of the shoes body. The shoe comes with a reinforced throatline, complemented by a tiny Vans tag while bold checkerboard patterns accent the sidewalls. Other details like “ACER” embroidery at the rear quarter and Vans vulcanized midsole round off the shoes understated design.
